So now we know that we have a week at Ventnor Marina we decided to go and do some exploring of the surrounding area today. It is a short walk to Napton on the HIll but it would mean us going across the locks to Calcutt with the dogs which is not a good idea. However the dog walking area on the marina is lovely and as the marina has four large ponds then there is quite a bit of walking we can do.
Cleaned the boat and did the washing and had an Asda delivery to stock up the cupboards so we are all set for a week at the marina.
Eren and Georgie have now seen rabbits, another new thing for them and Georgie just wants to chase them.
We actually let Georgie off the lead with Eren today and it was pretty successful but now that she has discovered the rabbits I am not sure she will come back to us quite as quickly.
The marina is lovely but it is only leisure moorings so no good for us as we live on the boat but Wigrams Turn which is also a Aquivista has residential moorings so we will go and take a look at that marina after we have the service completed as it is only just a few minutes up the canal.
The swan came back again today and was waiting at the back door for bread. Hissing away.
