It rained a lot last night and still raining in the morning so we are going to stay put until the weather improves. So we had breakfast and then did some chores on the van. If you don't keep everything tidy then the van becomes very cluttered.
We needed water on the van but realised that where we were parked was too far for the hose to reach so we ended up bringing buckets of water to the van to fill it. Several buckets later we were both wet but at least we had water.
The rain stopped around 12 noon so we decided to go for a walk in the countryside with the girls. We found a great playing field where they could let off some steam and then we walked down a lane to see if we could get to the river but it was too far for Eren to go. However we had a very pleasant walk around the village and then came back to the van for food.
The girls are really enjoying being outside for most of the day.
The Blacksmiths Arms opened at about 7pm so we went down with the dogs for a quiet drink. The young lady behind the bar was very very welcoming and we had a long chat with her about her dog. Georgie loved her too and even Eren took a treat from her.
After a couple of drinks we headed back to the van.
A very relaxing day which is what camping should be all about.
