A lovely slow start today as we only have a very short journey to Brinklow Marina which will be our home for a few days.

We arrived at the Marina at around 11am and parked outside the office so that we could be directed to our visitor mooring.  We were given a lovely berth halfway down the marina.  The staff were very helpful and the marina is beautiful.  It is set in around 22 acres of land so have a huge grass area for the dogs to run free.  Picnic areas and communal gardens around the site.  We had only been here a few minutes when a number of people came up to us and welcomed us to the marina and invited us to join them in the evening if they were out having a social gathering.  Very impressed so far.  We will be here until Wednesday morning and then will head down to Braunston for the final part of our journey.

Managed to get the washing done, clean the boat and stock up on groceries.  There are no shops close by but Tesco and Asda were happy to deliver so fridge is full.

I head down to London on Sunday for a few days with Abi, returning on Tuesday afternoon.  John and the dogs will have a few days relaxing at the marina.
